KauNhou Vang is a devoted single mother of five children and a proud dog mom to a six-year-old Cavachon. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and takes pride in watching her children grow into independent young adults.
KauNhou is a bilingual social work professional and entrepreneur dedicated to advancing mental health, community well-being, and innovative business solutions. With a Master’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Social Work, KauNhou specializes in trauma, LGBTQ+ issues, and alcohol and substance use. She has worked extensively with clients ranging from youth to adults, integrating culturally responsive and strength-based practices into her work.
Currently serving as a social worker, she provides care coordination for Medicaid and Medicare clients, helping them access behavioral health services, medical providers, and community resources. Her clinical training emphasizes evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused therapy.
Beyond her social work practice, KauNhou is actively developing ventures that focus on growth, financial empowerment, and building sustainable business opportunities.
